OFFICIAL STANDPOINT OF THE MISS PRINCESS OF THE WORLD® PRESIDIUM

Following the latest information from the World Health Organization(WHO) and the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic on the progressing worldwide epidemic of COVID-19, the Miss Princess of the World® Presidium discussed issues concerning the problematic situation in the organization of the current Miss Princess of the World®, as a prestigious international project involving more than 84 countries.

After due consideration of all of the circumstances, and with an emphasis on the protection of health and life of the participants of this event, including the audience, the President of the competition, Ing. Viktor Krča, has issued this standpoint, which is binding on the National Organizers of the Miss Princess of the World® competition.

AD 1. – Current World Final
The preparation and organization of the next year of the World Final of the Miss Princess of the World® competition has been temporarily postponed until further notice, and will be reactivated based on the assessment of the current epidemiological situation. Given that the preparation of this world event requires a lot of funding and organizational effort over a year or so, it is highly likely that the world finals will be postponed by at least a year.

AD 2. – National selection of finalists
It is strongly recommended that National Organizers also suspend the Miss Princess of the World® National Selections that have been currently initiated, or alternatively to reduce the number of people present at them, while respecting the required hygiene measures to avoid contamination of other Miss Princess of the World® participants. Alternatively, new technologies, such as videoconferencing with participants, can be actively used for this purpose.

AD 3. – Common national selection for the Czech and Slovak Republics
This year’s joint National Selection of the Czech and Slovak Republics, scheduled for 18.9.2020 on the Šiklův mlýn, remains in force, however, according to the current regulation of the Ministry of Health and the Government of the Czech Republic, access to the event is likely to be restricted for viewers and guests to this event.
At the same time, the casting sessions and semi-finals of the Miss Princess of the World® competition in the Czech Republic and Slovakia have been cancelled, and the girls may register from 1.4.2020 only through the official competition website. On the basis of submitting the completed application forms, delivery of the required photos, and especially the required video of the girls, the resulting selection of finalists for the Czech and Slovak Republics participating in the Miss Princess of the World® National Selection will be realized through selection and communication with the video jury.

In conclusion
Given that nearly half of the participating countries are currently affected by the epidemic, the President of the competition expresses his support to all participants and organizers, and hopes that the epidemic will soon be resolved with minimal casualties and other losses.

OFICIÁLNÍ STANOVISKO PRESIDIA SOUTĚŽE MISS PRINCESS OF THE WORLD®

V návaznosti na aktuální informace WHO (Světové zdravotnické organizace) a Ministerstva zdravotnictví České republiky ohledně postupující celosvětové epidemie Koronaviru COVID- 19 projednalo presidium soutěže Miss Princess of the World® otázky týkající se problematické situace při organizaci aktuálního nového ročníku Miss Princess of the World®, jakožto prestižního mezinárodního projektu s účastí více jak 84 států světa.

Na základě zvážení všech okolností a s důrazem na ochranu zdraví a života účastníků této akce včetně diváků vydává prezident soutěže Ing. Viktor Krča toto stanovisko, které je závazné pro Národní organizátory soutěže Miss Princess of the World®.

AD 1. – Aktuální světové finále
Příprava a organizace dalšího ročníku světového finále soutěže Miss Princess of the World® se prozatímně odkládá až do odvolání a bude opět aktivována na základě posouzení aktuální epidemiologické situace. Vzhledem ke skutečnosti, že příprava této světové akce vyžaduje spoustu financí i organizačního úsilí a to v průběhu více než jednoho roku, je vysoce pravděpodobné, že se světové finále minimálně o rok posune.

AD 2. – Národní výběry finalistek
Důrazně se doporučuje Národním organizátorům, aby v současné době zahájené Národní výběry Miss Princess of the World® taktéž pozastavili, případně aby omezili počet osob na nich se vyskytujících a přitom dodržovali požadovaná hygienická opatření, aby nedošlo k nákaze dalších účastníků akce Miss Princess of the World®. Případně je zde pro tyto účely možno aktivně využít nových technologií, jako jsou například videokonference s účastnicemi.

AD 3. – Společný národní výběr ČR a SR
Společný letošní Národní výběr České a Slovenské republiky Miss Princess of the World®, plánovaný na termín 18.9.2020 v areálu Šiklův mlýn, prozatím zůstává v platnosti, podle aktuálního nařízení Ministerstva zdravotnictví a vlády České republiky však bude pravděpodobně omezen přístup diváků a hostů na tuto akci.
Současně se ruší připravené castingy a semifinále soutěže Miss Princess of the World® v České republice a Slovenské republice, dívky se mohou přihlásit od 1.4. 2020 pouze prostřednictvím oficiálních internetových stránek soutěže. Na základě zaslání vyplněných přihlášek, dodání požadovaných fotografií a především požadovaného videa dívek bude následující výběr finalistek za Českou republiku a Slovenskou republiku, které se zúčastní společného Národního výběru Miss Princess of the World® realizován prostřednictvím výběru a komunikace s videoporotou.

Závšrem
Vzhledem ke skutečnosti, že téměř polovina zúčastněných zemí je v současnosti epidemií zasažena, vyjadřuje President soutěže tímto podporu všem účastníkům i organizátorům a doufá, že se epidemii podaří brzy vyřešit s minimálními oběťmi na životech či jinými ztrátami.
